Terms and Conditions
Booking Confirmation
To secure your reservation with Bahati Safaris, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than six (6) weeks prior to the scheduled departure date.
For bookings made within six (6) weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm participation.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Bahati Safaris. The following cancellation fees apply based on the number of days prior to departure:
More than 6 weeks before departure: 20% of the total package cost will be retained. The remaining balance will be refunded.
Between 3 to 4 weeks before departure: 50% of the total package cost will be retained.
Less than 2 weeks before departure: 100% of the total package cost will be retained. Any outstanding payments must be settled immediately.
No refunds will be provided for unused services or last-minute cancellations during the trip.
Liability
These terms form part of your contract with Bahati Safaris. The company acts solely as an agent on behalf of the client, and is not liable for any actions, omissions, or default by third-party service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, or ground operators.
Bahati Safaris is not responsible for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from circumstances including but not limited to:
The inherent risks of adventure travel and wildlife encounters
Weather and climatic conditions
Illness, quarantine, or medical emergencies
Mechanical or structural failures of transport or accommodation
Natural disasters, strikes, or political unrest
Acts of God or any other causes beyond our control
Travelers are advised of these risks and are expected to make informed decisions when confirming their booking.
Traveler Responsibilities
It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all passport, visa, vaccination, and other entry requirements for the destinations visited. Bahati Safaris does not accept liability for any losses or additional costs incurred due to non-compliance.
Travelers are also responsible for confirming the safety and security situation of their travel destination through appropriate government advisories.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
By booking and participating in a tour arranged by Bahati Safaris, travelers acknowledge and voluntarily accept all associated risks. Travelers agree to release and hold harmless Bahati Safaris, its employees, agents, affiliates, and partners from any liability, claims, or demands that may arise in connection with the tour, regardless of the cause.
This release applies to all group members covered by the booking.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Insurance should cover, at a minimum:
Trip cancellations or interruptions
Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings and documents
Travel delays and missed connections
Proof of travel insurance may be required prior to departure.
